You're going to want to see this on a computer.

Kodiak Field Services wanted a stronger website and tagline.
What we ended up doing was biiiiiigger.
When you revamp a website, you often find gaps in marketing content, and sometimes, internal values.
A shout-out (again) to a close agency relationship of mine in hey.u marketing. They brought Kodiak Field Services my way to bring some spark to their website and tagline. As soon as I entered into the discovery with their team, it became clear we had the opportunity to make a bigger impact.
The water transfer industry is not the most sexy. In fact, you may have never heard of it. They are the guys who bring or redirect water for municipal, oil/gas, and environmental purposes. It's an industry dominated by sterile corporate entities, which gave us wide open country to make a mark.
It started with discovery, but let's skip to the really fun part. Check out my other case studies if you want to see more on that valuable process.
Million dollar question: How do you make values memorable? Listen up.
I set out to find a natural way to integrate values into the field, by aligning them with a tagline.
Think about it. If you have to struggle through a set of values each time you are out in the field, no one is listening. It has to be fast and cohesive. As fast as pointing at your work shirt.
And you know what? They loved it, biiiiiig time.
My client is not afraid of risks. He saw the safer options, but believed in the power of this system in the long run—for employees and clients alike. It speaks to the inventive nature of the team, and our conversations on rule-breakers like Musk.

Then we applied it across external channels.
I worked through their wire framing, website copy, and mobile decks to make sure their intelligent, yet casual, ethos was front and center.
