That sketch changed everything. But let's rewind.

Meet Brandon—a lawyer and an outsider.

He was not exactly sure what to say about his law firm.

My relationship with WH Law started with a simple, honest conversation—I don't know how to talk about us. This was the jump-off point for a deeper look at the law firm. They had always embodied a rebellious streak, but how could that be balanced with other elements of who they are? How can we create positive energy that keeps their edge?

What we created was a multi-faceted brand focused on simplifying the law for people, humanizing lawyers, embracing uniqueness, and above all, building trust with the potential client. The project became big, fast. But it all rested on a sound strategy, and that's where I want to take you next.

Naturally, an outside-the-box discovery process was where we started.

Brandon and two of his senior lawyers embarked on a journey filled with open-ended questions, fun thinking, and from-the-hip answers to find the heart and personality of WH Law.

I jumped straight into campaign ideation.

With a full understanding of the different facets of WH Law, I built out a series of campaigns to help elevate this new ethos. One of them would guide the website and more.

Then my team boarded a plane to Little Rock.

I scheduled shoots from the woods to a chicken-fried modern kitchen, acquired permits, assisted in video direction and photography, and interviewed on-site for audio capture. With Kyle and Paul, we shot 20 profiles in four days, and finished up with team shots on day five.

From there, it was time to let the world know.

In partnership with Kyle and Paul, plus the huge support of Searchbloom, we built a website with guts and relatability. A website that screams WE ARE LIKE YOU. I joyfully led concept, wireframing, hierarchy, and website copy.

Metrics are tricky with branding, but here's the one I value most.

Brandon jumped from 80 applicants per month to 349 in a day.

Something you should know about my brand philosophy: people are the number one driver in sales and magnetism. When you hire people who believe as you believe, who breathe your ethos, they are the best advertising you could ever have. No channel for marketing has higher guaranteed returns than a real connection built on relationship.

WH Law started attracting people at a blazing rate, people who were talented and using the brand language. Now, let's not overlook the growth of client work. Brandon and his team have seen a significant increase in their funnel, and alongside his tech-forward focus, they are planting a flag on the law industry.
